Martin TerBekke

Martin TerBekkeWhere did you start your career?
I started my career at a private business university. I have studied biology, but I am also interested in business and marketing. After an internship and one year of fulltime employment at this university, I joined P&G. My current position within the External Relation department enables me to use and develop both my scientific and commercial knowledge and skills.

What was your biggest challenge in the first 3 months after starting with P&G?
I work in an international team for multiple brands together with other departments like marketing, research and legal. Therefore, the biggest challenge was getting to know the company, the people and the different departments. Working in such a diverse environment really boosted my learning curve!

What is the one piece of advice you have for future applicants?

Don’t hesitate because you are afraid to fail. Just take on the challenge and apply! That reflects the P&G mentality.
