Carsten Schifter
Where did you start your career? As
an intern for 8 months in a Always/Alldays plant near Stuttgart, then
in Geneva, the EU HQ for P&G. My business unit is P&G
Pharmaceuticals.
What is the one best thing about working at P&G?The
incredible flexible working arrangement. Basically, you are your own
boss as long as you deliver your results. It does not matter where and
how long you have worked on the analysis - either in the office, at
home or from any other P&G location in the world, or if it took you
2, 5 or 10 hours - what matters, is the result.
What is the one piece of advice you have for future applicants?Stay
open for new perspectives and embrace the change, P&G will never
stand still. Don't worry about a boring professional life - if you come
to the Geneva campus, it is like being on a very advanced Erasmus
program ;-) You'll meet great people from all over the world, ranging
from the assistant to the top manager.
