"Working at P&G allowed me to grow personally, develop professionally, and to live at the standard of living that I want to."
When you join P&G, quite a few things stand out: Leaders who support your development, the training you receive, the way P&G treats its employees (from work-life balance to compensation & benefits), to name only a few.
On my first day, I was given an international project to lead and fully be responsible for, and a budget I thought I could never spend (and then it was suddenly all gone). This is the hands-on learning and fast-fail-and-learn approach P&G leaders encourage all interns and new hires to have. P&G is a huge ship that encourages you to go for a swim in the ocean. You will swim, and the sea will be increasingly rough. You will start to struggle, but you will be trusted to swim. But as soon as you start drowning, P&G will pull you out of the water, pat you dry, and throw you in again. Finding your own path, learning and innovating as you go, leaving your own footprints, growing as a person and individual is what P&G leaders want you to do. And should you need support along the way, you will always find help at P&G.
P&G also takes really good care of it’s employees’ wellbeing. It is not only evident via our company’s own gym (even with a pool and sauna!), but also in our additional healthcare options and insurances. Of course there is also the financial aspect. The company’s stock-option program really allows you to save up money, and I was able to pay my first vacation to the Caribbean sea (2 weeks) from my P&G entry-level salary.
Working at P&G allowed me to grow personally, develop professionally, and to live at the standard of living that I want to.
