STEM Masterclass: Unleashing Technical Skillset in your Career and Beyond!
Speaker: Dr Paul Matts (P&G R&D Vice President)

With the heart of a start-up and the resources of a global corporation, here at P&G we are always looking for ways to reinvent what we do. In this Masterclass, learn from Dr Paul Matts, how you can unleash your technical STEM skillset and use it to accelerate your career. Paul started as a PhD Microbial Biochemist but has spent the majority of his career applying this technical mindset to leading skin research both inside and outside of P&G. Paul’s technical and critical thinking has enabled him to take on influential scientific and academic roles outside of his day job such as the Chair of the CE Sun Protection Scientific Advisory Group, being an expert voice in the global standardisation of SPF/UVA, and a visiting professor at the London College of Fashion and the UCL School of Pharmacy. He has applied his knowledge and skin biology expertise to co-found an NGO in Ethiopia to help the 1.5+ million sufferers of the skin condition Podoconiosis. This masterclass is relevant to those studying any STEM discipline and will walk you through how you can use your technical mindset to accelerate your career and explore your passions.
