The Procter & Gamble Company seeks Data Scientist (Cincinnati, OH) to develop A/B (Test & Control) measurement platform for P&G digital media campaigns (Programmatic, DTC, KOM, etc.). Analyze and develop algorithms to optimize the effectiveness of P&G’s advertising campaigns. Execute research and analytics, including creating metrics, data source identification, data pre-processing, statistical hypothesis testing, design of experiments, dimensionality reduction, Bayesian and probabilistic model building/algorithm development and model validation. Perform multivariate data analysis via Machine Learning for campaign sales predictions. Extract meaningful insights from large data sets (several terabytes) to provide actionable recommendations which will drive business value creation. Use business intelligence tools such as Tableau to visualize data insights and communicate the results with brand Managers and non-technical personnel on a regular basis.
PhD or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operation Research, Software Development or a closely related field and 2 years of work or academic experience in: Probabilistic Modeling and Prediction; Bayesian Analysis, Bayesian Decision Theory; Statistical Causal Inference; Machine Learning methods; Uncertainty Quantification; Experimental Design; Model Reduction, and Dimensionality Reduction. Requires 1 year of work or academic experience in: Big data ecosystem including Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and Hive; and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
