Internship - Engineer Supply Chain
The Procter&Gamble Blois plant, located in Loir-et-Cher, is one of the most important production plant for hair care products. Every day, we produce more than 2 million bottles. Our brands? Head&Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essences, Aussie, and Old Spice. Our site is highly automated with a state-of-the-art level of technology of the cosmetics industry.
Our production site relies on a total logistics chain from the reception of raw materials to the shipment of our finished products. The department is composed in different areas: reception area, a shipping area and two storage warehouses.
Set up a system for monitoring, consolidating and analyzing shipping machine stoppages, in particular strapping machines, wrapping machines and turntables:
Analysis of delays in the logistics chain
Set up a system for monitoring and consolidating shutdowns
Simplify the analysis of losses in the "shipping" area
Co-set up a loss analysis report on the "shipping" area
Share the logistical impacts on the packaging lines
Implement logistics flow communications solutions (objectives, losses, action plan, training, reports, etc.) to the various contacts:
Set up a monitoring of maintenance costs on the SAP software in collaboration with the maintenance planning manager.
Ensure the proper application of P&G standards
Propose actions to simplify reports and support the digitization of our supply chain in the field
Support the technical teams and updating our loss elimination tools.
Document the list of tasks and training for positions in the "shipping" area:
Inventory all the tasks carried out by the technical teams
Document and update the job description
