Responsibilities

The Procter & Gamble Blois plant, located in Loir-et-Cher, is one of the most important production sites for hair care product. Every day, we produce more than 3 million bottles. Our brands? Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essence, Aussie, and Old Spice. Our site is highly automated with a state-of-the-art level of technology of the cosmetics industry.

An internship as Process Engineer is the opportunity to be on the production floor meeting different challenges. It's up to you to make decisions and the results of those decisions through. Discovering our leading technologies which are world-renowned and also the P&G standards and methods. In the end, you will build your own capabilities through the job experience, mentoring and training.

How would you like to improve process systems while also leading teams of people? We want engineers who can handle dynamic work environments and who know how to think outside of the box. We rely on our engineers in manufacturing to make our products to the highest of standards. If you would like to be a part of this process, then we want you in our team!

Inside the Packaging department your work will be to redesign the bill of materials. The BOM serves as a complete list of all the materials and every item that a manufacturer needs to create a certain product. To be effective, the BOM needs to include the raw materials and any subassemblies, subcomponents, and parts and the precise quantities of each.

Internship missions you can expect:

  • Analyse our actual design

  • Update our bill of material (BOM).

  • Ensure the functional execution of data throughout the organization. Your main goal is to fit with commercial and P&G polices.

  • Be a change agent supporting business colleagues through master data and process transitions.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • Currently studying a Master’s degree or engineer school

  • Understanding of SAP Business Partner and Material Master Data and relationship structure

  • Critical thinking and evaluation skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Sets very high standards for work quality and adherence to processes

  • Committed to creating and improving processes

  • MS Office; Advanced MS Excel Skills

  • Ability to understand process flows.

  • Great organization and time management skills with the desire to complete projects on time.
