As Modeling & Simulation Analysts, our challenge is to model and virtually explore new and existing products or processes. You are needed to help us develop and apply the right physics-based models to develop innovative new products and processes. You should be able work with a multi-functional team to define the model's requirements and then deliver the development and execution of a model, simulate various outcomes and derive insights.
As data scientists, you should be able to acquire, transform and analyze large sets of complex data both structured and unstructured develop models and interpret the results to create actionable plans and communicate insights to drive key decisions. You will be able to apply your skills in a range of data science tools involving data analytics to more higher order AI/ML methods in several domains including not limited to, text/NLP, sensors/IOT, images/computer vision. You will be the primary evangelist to the business for the power of predictive analysis and develop business cases to show how we can improve our predictive capabilities.
This is a 6 month co-op position beginning January 2022 and completing at the end of June 2022.
- Overall G.P.A. of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Majoring in engineering. We prefer Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, but we also consider other, similar engineering and science degrees
- Strong communication skills
- Both critical thinking and active listening
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Basic coding experience, preferably Python.
