Human Resources Workday Architect - Data Governance Manager

As the Workday Information/Data Architect, you will partner with others in our HR organization and provide solutions guidance and design/strategy support to enable business teams to leverage data as a strategic asset, while maintaining its integrity and quality. This includes understanding business data and insights challenges, maintaining understanding of Workday data architecture, developing and implementing data standards and creating methods for monitoring and reporting any data incidents. Requires broad Workday knowledge which will enable you to develop and oversee strategies designed to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies.


Provide guidance on Workday data policies and standards based on deep understanding of underlying business processes that impact data flow and cross-functional data usage 

Synthesize and document data flows for critical business processes to maintain data policies, inform any cross-org impact from proposed data changes and to provide as a reference to strategic data initiatives

Own data integrity of cross application Workday data by establishing data health monitoring system to build trust in data for cross-org operational and analytic consumption

Partner with business data and system owners to maintain data integrity of Workday data at source systems

Support key strategic enterprise initiatives and product feature releases with critical data assets as data SME

Maintain in-depth understanding of business functions, processes, and relationships as it relates to data

Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes

Help team members with understanding of data best practices as well as develop performance support tools 

Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst HR

Act as a leader to the data community; evangelizing, communicating, and distributing information

Remote / work from home / location free available.


Posses consulting, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills involving complex and ambiguous issues
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of executing on multiple projects simultaneously working with cross functional teams


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience 

3+ years of experience with Workday data, business processes, or reporting

Experience with Prism preferred

Deep knowledge of databases and data structures, and data objects in Workday

Experience in global organization
