Human Resources Workday HCM Manager

THE WORKDAY HCM MANAGER WILL:
Serve as domain specialist for Workday HCM

Develop standard methodology solutions and be able to ‘sell’ solutions

Maintain organization and position management

Own security profiles (job and user) and HCM business processes

Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR services

Promote businesses and organizations can advance and grow by adopting Workday solutions

Experience presenting HCM solutions in front of a technical and business audience

Capture and analyze requirements to craft and improve HCM

Partner with IT to see requirements translated into production configuration

Participate and execute unit, regression and user acceptance testing to ensure requirements and configuration provide expected results

Prepare for and support twice-annual upgrades and annual HCM processes (performance, compensation, open enrollment, etc.)

Proactively assess new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans

Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness both within and across systems

Handle sensitive data with care and only when vital; ensuring all necessary security measures are taken

Participate in training activities for members of the HCM department and end-users Issue Resolution

Utilize ServiceNow Case Management system to evaluate and resolve Workday HCM related issues

Work collaboratively with HR partners and team members to troubleshoot, research, and call out issues as vital

Call out business process issues to management, along with recommendations for potential solutions

Triage, diagnose, and assign/resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, security, data etc.

Partner with key partners to solve sophisticated issues/problems related to Workday data management

Able to independently identify and address Workday issues with little oversight

Use discretion and independent judgment in data analysis and reviewing data integrity issues

Establish key measures to assess and identify trends, root causes and solutions to drive efficiency and scale within Workday Projects

Take the lead in HCM projects through execution of project life cycle

Follow Workday methodology

Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches

Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix

Review and analyze current procedures, identify areas for improvement and build and implement a standardization system across the enterprise

Find opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes

Collaborate with partners across all functions (HR, Finance, IT, Operations) to maintain and develop processes that will build an outstanding HR operations platform and an excellent employee experience

Evaluate system issues, identify alternatives, and implement timely solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
3+ years of practical Workday Administration experience
Experience with Workday Security Administration & Workday Business Processes
