Description

Are you passionate about solving tough challenges? How would you like to use your analytical skills to find creative solutions for consumer's everyday problems? If this sounds like fun, we would love to hire someone with your skills and abilities to join our team to work on new technology approaches to address unmet consumer needs and/or resolve technical tensions!


As a Microbiologist with our organization, you will lead an S-Curve experimental program to deliver new insights and capabilities within the Microbiome for Life platform. This will include problem definition experimental design and data interpretation aimed at the identification of consumer preferred technologies. Using advanced molecular and cultural tools to gain biological insights on microbial composition consortia and ecological interactions for different environments meaningful for various Business Units.

We are looking for you to have expertise in project management, team leadership as well as laboratory skills in molecular biology and microbial culture. You should have ability to solve problems, be an authority and resource for P&G and external academic partners. You will assimilate and integrate data from the microbiome and microbiology ecology literature to build end-to-end solutions for the P&G global consumers.

In this role, key responsibilities:

Model development and technology identification based on microbiome understanding.

Ability to anticipate future needs for the consumer products and set the strategy for the program deliverables.

Establish alignment of the team and maintain milestones and timing.

Solve technical problems across P&G business platform and translate learning into businesses success.

Identify and enroll discipline science partners to enable technical and consumer understanding to deliver the project objectives.

Understand competitive landscaping and technically lead the screening of performance of competitive technologies and develop superior approaches.



Qualifications
We believe you will be an excellent fit if, you have:

PhD in Microbiology or similar discipline with deep technical mastery in microbial understanding, new model development for upstream innovation, new method.

Excellent verbal, written communication and technical skills.
