The Communications Function is a critical Discipline within the P&G Brand Function that the enables the growth of our company and brands – via Impactful Communications, Connections, and Crisis Management. This is an exciting time for Global Communications, and we are looking for a creative, talented individual with strong communication and visual design skills who will help us raise the bar in crafting world class communications that drive our Company reputation with internal and external stakeholders.

The Opportunity

We are hiring for a Newsroom Visual Creative Leader based in our Cincinnati, Ohio Headquarters! You will help deliver P&G’s communications strategies and priorities. You will partner with content managers to build world class content and visuals to support key communications initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

- A storyteller and translator with a track record of collaborating with writers, accountants, engineers, scientists and other subject matter experts to help transform their complex stories into simple, breakthrough visual content used across an array of owned digital and social media platforms.

- A content marketer whose work samples demonstrate excellence in developing and disseminating disruptive visual content that is customized and optimized for various audiences and channels.

- A roll-up-your-sleeves partner with an agile, entrepreneurial spirit.

- A person comfortable leading creative work via an agency, as well as designing highly-confidential deliverables on the fly when necessary.

- An Adobe Creative Suite master who adept at creating or editing custom artwork for print, digital, social, or slide presentations.

- A teacher, passionate about raising the collective team’s visual communications appreciation, acumen and appetite on an ongoing basis, as they develop their communication strategies and plans.

About the Job

- Be the Visual Content Master in the P&G Newsroom, who will provide counsel and/or directly lead:

- Visual Communications Strategy finalization for all initiatives that will be touched by the P&G Newsroom.

- Partner with portfolio teams/leaders to drive choices that will result in the impactful visuals that will drive superior reputation across our equity focus areas of: (a) Business Performance/Leadership; (b) Innovation and Great Workplace; and (c) Citizenship.

- Finalizing – in partnership with the portfolio teams - the visual strategies for all our initiatives.

- Visual Communications Execution and Publishing. Partner with the newsroom leader, newsroom members, and portfolio teams to ensure high-impact visuals for all our key initiatives. This will include: (a) direct content development; and/or (b) editing/finalization – in partnership with our agencies and/or other content developers.

- Ensure excellent relationship and processes with our agency partners.

- Responsible for developing and executing capability programs.

Qualifications

Requirements

Visual communications authority with 3+ years of agency and/or corporate experience providing strong creative/visual design support on major brand campaigns and initiatives.

Ability to develop and execute effective communications strategies and plans with excellence and deliver strong results vs. goals.

Understands how to measure and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of PR/Communications initiatives.

Great understanding and experience with various social media channels and social media influencers. Experience working with the news media, social influencers and ambassadors.

Demonstrated ability to anticipate and handle issues that can affect brand reputation.

Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, integrative thinking and collaboration skills. Can effectively juggle immediate deadlines while also developing plans for future programs.

Passion for Creativity: keen understanding of advertising principles and creative project process terminology.

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Strong project and time management skills, experience leading multiple high complexity multi-regional and/or global projects simultaneously, with attention to detail.

PR agency experience a plus
