OMP is a cloud-based solution that provides outstanding production planning and scheduling capabilities to P&G planners across the globe. It is one of the building blocks of our Supply Chain capabilities, repetitively ranked within Gartner Supply Chain Masters group.

The Cloud OMP Technical Implementation Leader will play an important part in the newly crafted Global OMP Technical Delivery Organization. He or she will engage as technical coach and manage the team that install, upgrades, consolidates, integrates our technical OMP platform with the P&G ecosystem.

In addition to being the day to day leader of the implementation processes, its OMP experience will  be further leveraged to transform the existing processes from a manual based processes to an automated based process following the principles and methodologies of agile and DevOps.


Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • Experience with OMP projects with activities like setting up environments in the cloud, set up interfaces to/from SAP-OMP, database install and management, environment creation and environment consolidation amongst others.
  • Lead a team -- track record of being a good team lead for implementation projects.  Manage the on-boarding of new team members.  Manage portfolio of activities for all team members to ensure all business needs are continuously being met.  Ensure team members have been fully enabled to deliver the goals as well as grow their potential.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing Platform administration or development (Azure preferred).
  • Ongoing application delivery / administration - from testing, through implementation to production support.
  • Optimizing own's work through automating routine tasks. PowerShell and / or Linux environment and shell (bash) scripting.
  • Experience with SQL based data bases (Oracle / Microsoft SQL preferred).
  • Ability to quickly penetrate technology areas and ask appropriate and relevant technical inquiries.
  • Working with complex, global, multi-instance applications.

  • Ability to self-organize your work in a dynamic environment, as well as help your team get organized to deliver the work.
  • Continuous improvement attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP PP or OMP solutions.
  • ITIL foundations knowledge; or confirmed IT operations background.
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
  • Management or leadership skills / experiences.
  • Experience working with external companies.
  • Skills & Capabilities in the following areas (technical transformation squad):
    • Workflow Design & Requirement Documentation (PDD)
    • Windows-based administration & configuration management
    • OMP as a software management and basic architecture
    • Power-shell scripting
    • Windows task-scheduler
    • Putty
    • WinSCP
    • Attended / Un-attended automation on server (blue prism, UiPath, Microsoft Flow)
    • Basic level of database understanding (Oracle and MS SQL)
    • Visualization: Power BI
