Category Analysts (CA’s) are responsible for delivering Winning Shelf Now & Next Solutions for Walmart.  CA’s must develop a deep knowledge of the Category they work on to support the Category Development Manager in influencing & executing Walmart’s Category Strategies.   CA’s must have strong interpersonal skills as they co-own the relationship with the Walmart Buyer & Modular Space Development Manager (MSDM).  CA’s are responsible for the execution of the Walmart Modular Process (Strategy Development, Modular Drawing, Modular Analysis, etc.). CA’s must have strong analytical skills in order to support Walmart’s weekly reporting and ad hoc analytical needs leveraging P&G’s suite of analytical tools (FastMart, Nielsen, Retail Link, etc.).  CA’s are responsible for maintaining item & store segmentation which fuels P&G’s analytical tools & modular software. CA’s must also be able to leverage shopper insights to deliver strategic alignment and drive execution across the Omni Shopping Environment.
