Purchasing is a world of analysis, strategy, relationship management, material supply chains, and negotiations. Sounds exciting to you?

We are looking for a motivated Purchase Manager who will join the team to source and manage our global spend in electronics!

In this job you are responsible for the development of a sourcing strategy together with business leaders across R&D, supply chain organization and manufacturing sites seamlessly, to develop short-term & long-term roadmaps and implement plans to enable the total best value for the business.

You will be part of a diverse team located in key geographies (Europe, North America, and Greater China).

  • Develop innovative and scalable electronic sourcing solutions as well as plan and lead complex execution approaches

  • Build on purchases proficiency in electronics sourcing and have broad responsibilities to set and influence the strategic direction with our collaborators

  • Develop a strong strategic sourcing focus as well as good knowledge in project management

  • You will work in an inclusive environment that promotes and values the strengths of each team member

  • Manage and cultivate key relationships with both internal and external partners

  • Be accountable for excellence in business results and compliance

You are a good fit if you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management. (Having a technical education background or sourcing experience is a plus)

  • Fluent English proficiency (verbal and written), other language skills are a benefit

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence leaders in other functions both regionally and globally. You're capable of explaining complex topics in a simple and concise way that helps broader audiences understand the vision, choices, risks, and benefits.

  • Strong relationship building capabilities and the demonstrated skill to understand organizational and multicultural dynamics as well as work effectively in a diverse environment and across multifunctional teams.

  • Leadership Skills: You are able to collaborate with the team, work against common visions, objectives, and difficult decisions to gain leadership alignment for key decisions.

  • A demonstrated ability of working with discipline in an autonomous environment where you are driving decisions to closure, balance multiple and competing priorities, and deliver results.

  • A strong analytical mentality and the capability to drive decisions based on data

  • Experience in SAP is of advantage
