To co-create the future of P&G’s smart & connected electronic products, we are looking for an experienced electrical component engineer who will manage the successful selection, integration and life-cycle management of suitable components across our Electronic, IoT and Digital product portfolio.

This position is based in the German Innovation Center, in Kronberg in Taunus, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to world metropole Frankfurt am Main.

You will join a motivated team that works on exciting new technologies in the connectivity and consumer product space, leveraging advanced technologies and Agile development methods.


  • Constant market monitoring for upcoming new components and information providing to R&D / component and circuit development

  • Testing and releasing of electronic components in collaboration with the production plants and Purchasing dept.

  • Performing tests on electronic assemblies and Printed circuit parts (electrical, thermal, collaboration with EMC and physical, chemical, mechanical, analytical specialists, analysis of competitive appliances)

  • Examination, root cause analysis of defective returned appliances

  • Maintenance of data for Raw Materials and assemblies in electronic data retrieval system

  • Act as interface of the Electronics Development group to manufacturers and suppliers

  • B.SC. or M.SC. in Electrical Engineering

  • Several years of experience in development and production/ assembly of electronic devices/ PCB’s

  • Fundamental knowledge of the physical function principles of active, passive and electromechanical components

  • Fundamental knowledge of methods of Quality Assurance (FMEA, Quality Reports)

  • Fundamental knowledge about processes in the Electronics production (automatic assembly, soldering, In circuit test, inspection)

  • Ability to understand the function of electronic circuits and perform measurements and tests on assembled PCB’s or on single components
