Senior Embedded Software Developer - Firmware Architect (m/f/d) near Frankfurt/M.

We are looking for an open-minded Software Architect to join P&Gs global hub for device development close to Frankfurt am Main. The Kronberg Innovation Centre is the birthplace of irresistible brands like Oral-BiO toothbrushes, Braun Grooming devices and Gillette Heated Razor.
With us you will:
Lead design of modular software architectures for a wide range of devices, ranging from micro-controller operated appliances to IoT enabled medical products.
Collaborate with a multi-functional team to translate user requirements into technical solutions and educate the team to follow commonarchitecture principles.
Implement code together with the software team based on the developed software architecture and having end-to-end responsibility for the quality of the solution from development to design for manufacturing.
You will also need to work on transferring software into mass production.
Qualifications
Apply if youhave:
M.Sc. or PhDandtechnology background such as: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience in crafting modular embedded software architectures and applying innovative software development methods.
Profound knowledge in applying Embedded C in your previous position and experience in one higher layer programming language (e.g.Python).
Deep knowledge to code bare-metal on 8/16/32bit general purpose micro-controller or ARM Cortex-M architectures.
Experience in electronic hardware and application of micro-controller peripherals (e.g.ADC, PWM).
Worked in Multi-Developer Software Teams with common software management and Version Control Systems.
An advantage is experience withthecommunication protocols bluetoothandWifi
Proficiently in English.
