Hair Care Process Development
This Associate Researcher will be part of the Process Development team that supports the technical readiness for the Hair Care West Campus initiatives as well as supporting finished product batch making across both cosmetic and anti-dandruff product platforms. These initiatives have and continue to play a significant role in growing the Hair Care business. This role will be an addition to an experienced, energetic, fast-paced, supportive, and fun organization!
Responsibilities include execution of process learning plans, conducting experiments and qualification batch trials in the Process Research Lab, summarizing data via lab notebooks, generating reports, communicating results, and creation of standards for initiatives. Responsibilities also include collaborating with the process team to make finished product across both cosmetic and anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner in the pilot plant or lab.
We are looking for someone with an Associates degree in Chemistry or related field.
Operates with Discipline & Executes with Excellence - Takes personal ownership of work. Understands and applies relevant SOP's, Guidance Documents, and the like to ensure work is compliant. Has a focus on quality and attention to details to ensure proper execution of batch making and documentation. Finished product needs are often used for registration and stability and need to be made as intended in a timely manner.
Collaboration - Demonstrated track record of working collaboratively within a team and with R&D partners.
Agility - Must be able to manage multiple priorities. Ready and able to adapt to changing project needs, timings, and priorities. The West Campus Process team is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Finished product making across multiple platforms will require flexibility and prioritization.
Communication – Strong in both oral and written forms of communication. Can effectively communicate ideas, issues, observations, and recommendations.
Familiarity with GMP making requirements and digital systems is desired but not required.
