Regulatory Manager BS/MS

Entry level for employees who develop proficiency in GPS Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining hands-on experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems. Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones. May own part of a testing program. Able to independently formulate hypothesis, design experiments to test it, interpret complex data, write reports and publications, communicate results in the business context, including at external events. Has mastered the basic regulatory and systems fundamentals in their capability area (registration, INCI, system management, ingredient and product compliance checks) or has technical mastery in a science area based on their educational background. May determine the regulatory strategies to support new initiatives or protect current business/formulations in the market, and defining GTM IMPs. Where appropriate, works with Distributors on regulatory compliance matters.

  • Develop and lead regulatory strategies to support consumer and clinical testing, claims, copy development, market clearances and artwork development of new and existing product innovations.
  • Enable a more holistic approach to the management of US compliance efforts for the various categories of Oral Care products, from study request throughout their lifetime in the market.
  • Assess the competitive landscape and proactively build actionable but enabling regulatory business strategies, actions to be taken regarding compliance opportunities or regulatory vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor applicable regulations/standards, FDA, State regulations in the US


Regulatory Manager – BS/MS in scientific field with experience in FDA regulatory affairs preferred, or strong willingness to learn complex regulatory landscape, thru compliance strategies for FDA, regulated products, US regulations. The individual in this role must be able to independently formulate logical and data-based regulatory positions, to communicate clearly and manage questions in real time or discern when escalation is needed. Proactive and agile project leadership, issue management, troubleshooting and solution driving skills will contribute to success in this assignment.

Leadership - Will be a key leader to enable a growing Oral Care business in compliance with current and forthcoming US regulations. Leadership will be crucial to succeed in this fast-paced business, complex regulatory environment, and within broad multi-functional teams.

Just So You Know:

Pay Range: $85-$115K

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
