IT Operations Manager for Mequinenza
SPECIFIC LOCATION OF JOB:
BUSINESS PURPOSE OF JOB:
In this role, you will lead and govern IT Operations in our site for complex, local, regional and global IT services including Applications, Data Centers, Networks, Storage, Collaboration Tools, as well as Server and Storage Services, IT components in the OT space. You will interact with product supply business partners and local, regional and global IT operations and service teams. Ideal candidates will be able to be hands-on and can directly contribute to the successful execution of the team’s initiatives. You are responsible to understand and anticipate the technology operations requirements for your area of responsibility of a quicly evolving business.
You will be accountable for the following IT focus areas in our site to align with our long-term business requirements:
End-to-End IT Operations
- Operational excellence for IT & OT Applications, Infrastructure & Networking
- Systemic IT issue remediation identified by Global Internal Audit (GIA)
- IT Continuity mitigation (avoid unplanned downtime)
- IT Stewardship Compliance, Cybersecurity vulnerability, & Info Security
Our work plan is aligned with the site priorities and will require technical deep understanding to execute and govern IT technical work. The leader will balance capacity in line with local needs and global IT focus areas.
What are the Technical Responsibilities?
Service Operations: Manage IT and OT applications and infrastructure components in a production environment. ITIL Foundation Certification would be helpful.
Incident Management & Resolution: Demonstrate accountability and ownership to lead most technical IT incidents to resolution within his/her technical area and work with the team to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents (i.e. local troubleshooting in case of operational issues with Manufacturing/Warehousing solutions or network outages). Demonstrate deep understanding and critical thinking skills in solving issues related to applications, computing and network.
Escalation Management: Minimize impact to business operations by identifying potential critical issues and alert management proactively, elevating to right IT operations team.
Problem Management: Increase availability of IT services by reducing the number of incidents. Begin to dedicatedly and reactively provide solutions to prevent problems from reoccurring in area of responsibility, inter-operating with the our business and operating standards, key personnel and partners.
Change Management: Responsible for implementing and leading IT change for his/her site (review, approve, control quality of execution).
Continuous improvement: Identify and implement improvements to IT services that support business processes. Measure service performance and improve processes, IT services and IT infrastructure to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the IT and OT operations. Work closely with IT Operations Leader & IT Service Owner to deliver the agreed continuous improvement plan.
Application Management: Analyze and resolve integration needs through different application (local/global)
Solution Design: Primary IT single point of contact (SPOC) for global and regional employee services related projects. Act as consultant for network and local infrastructure needs within area(s) of technical responsibility.
Stewardship: Lead and/ or perform of IT Control Self Aasessments (CSAs) and responsible for timely closure of the issues with quality. Support local Audit on all IT topics.
Governance of IT supplier partners at site: lead local/global external operational resources that deliver IT operations at site.
IT/OT Infrastructure Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure. This includes Servers, Networking, Firewalls, Security, Voice, Mobility and Personal Computing. Strong desire to improve mastery that is now recognized as a critical skill in the new IT career model.
Teamwork/ Vendor /Partner Management: You will work in a highly matrix organization. You will need to work well across teams, functions, and organizations and is seen by others as a solid team player.
Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a 'start‐up' type environment. This role will play a huge part in fine-tuning this new role and identifying the work processes and business processes necessary to ensure Operational perfection in a Plant environment.
Project Management: Skills to successfully deliver small to medium projects.
IT Security & Risk: awareness of cybersecurity requirements and support local cybersecurity team into the remediation plan.
IT stewardship: Basic in IT stewardship requirement and controls.
