Leader of India consumer understanding ‘Hub’ for a P&G product category. In this role we are looking for a visionary and industry leading consumer science expert. The candidate will lead development of deep understanding of product usage experiences, product tensions and gaps / needs across the vast and changing consumer landscape in all India. Utilising and developing cutting edge consumer research techniques to build advanced digital understanding & predictability using cutting edge data / behavioural science techniques. Using these insights, the leader will work with globally based R&D colleagues to inform product design direction and work closely to help them build relevant predictability methods and models.
In this role the innovative and collaborative individual will report to an overseas manager and work alongside a global R&D product development team – playing the role to provide deep insights, build sophisticated understanding & digital models of diverse habits and practice, preferences and experiences and run research to enable rapid understanding of prototypes. They will also work closely within the hub with other consumer innovation leaders across other product categories, as well as the local India based Market understanding teams to provide insights.
- Background of Masters / post-doctoral education in Engineering & Science from top university.
- Experience & interest in the data sciences (e.g. computational modelling, big data & AI).
- Experience & interest in behavioural sciences is a benefit
- Evidence of strong collaboration skills, working in a team to deliver an end result – especially across cultures and across different locations.
- Evidence of strong leadership skills to deliver projects
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
