We are looking for someone like you in the New Orleans area to work as a Sales Representative within our P&G Professional Organization. P&G Professional is a leading manufacturer and marketer of away-from-home products and solutions. Your job will be selling brands that you know and love like Bounty, Cascade, Charmin, Comet, Dawn, Febreze, Safeguard, Swiffer, and Tide.
You'll be selling our professional line of cleaning products to building service contractors, hotels, health care facilities, restaurants, and shools. You will also work closely with our distribution partners to sell jointly to janitorial and food service customers. Your role will be as a part of a multi-functional Distributor Customer Team which includes Finance, Logistics, Marketing, and Information Systems to provide the resources needed to develop a new and successful way of doing business.
For you, the sales process begins with understanding your commercial customers’ (distributor or end-user) business, then utilizing available information (P&G and customers’) to explain the business building opportunities, and, finally persuading our customer to accept the recommendation for one or more specific courses of action. You will need to develop expertise in areas such as product knowledge and technical support as well.
This is a career sales position. In order to effectively perform the job duties described above, all applicants should reside in and have a detailed knowledge of this territory, as we will not be able to pay for your relocation. The sales territory covers Louisiana and Mississippi.

- The ability to speak and write English
- Previous experience in Janitorial, Sanitation, or Food Service distributor sales areas is a plus, but not necessary
- Spanish would be helpful, but is also not required.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, but is not required.
