Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer is being hired as a member of a high-performance work team. E&I Engineers are responsible for enabling production throughput, reducing equipment downtime, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery.  They focus on initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects with the goal of delivering the best product, at the lowest cost, with the highest quality, and in a safe environment.  E&I Engineers are expected to have electrical technical mastery in order to successfully troubleshoot problems and to proactively improve production systems. 

E&I Engineers perform various types of work, such as:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, making, and facilities power & controls equipment;
  • Using electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems;
  • Performing preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment;
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring, & programming PLC and HMI systems;
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring variable frequency drives, servo control systems;
  • Troubleshooting and repairing machine and process control equipment;

Individuals with an electrical-based degree or equivalent electrical work experience should apply.  Additional skills we are seeking include experience with PLC's and HMI's, instrumentation calibrations, motor control systems, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and control system networking.  In addition, we are seeking individuals with good interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.  All applicants must be willing to rotate shifts.

Ordzhonikidze Procter & Gamble Plant operates 5-days per week.  Engineers work any day of the week.  Work on weekends may be as overtime. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule.  Engineers must be willing to rotate and to work any shift. 

Additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.


Qualifications

All applicants must:

  • Have a high school diploma or electrical-based degree;
  • Have electrical work experience;
  • English skills (ability to read technical documentation)
