Data Capture Leaders are Technical and Vendor management masters: they need to be effective technologists, self-motivated, and able to source data to fuel business analytics which improve P&G’s business results. Technical mastery and interpersonal /communication skills and Vendor/operations management skills are a must to thrive.
In Data Capture, the professionals deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into PG Infrastructure to fuel downstream capabilities. Work in partnerships with data science, analysts and end users to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. Drive data roadmap for the next 2-3 years, inclusive of data innovation.
Additionally, participate in innovation projects to anticipate and define how to ingest future data sets, embed the functionalities in work process and work with a global network of leaders to expand the best practices.

Among responsibilities, the professional should be able to:

  • Engage relevant Services to review/align data strategy & roadmap. Shares input from data owners / BU decisions.
  • Reviews data operational results with service managers.
  • Lead solution, communication and root cause analysis for service issues.
  • Assess and review Partner Results regularly against expectations for relevant services
  • Identify/propose innovation/transformation opportunities and Executes innovation plan for data service(s) by acting as an advisor for regional or global implementation of new Ideas and/or drives Pilots across Data types.
  • Invest in Analytical Skills improvement of Balance of LA Organization

Qualifications

Qualifications

We are looking for leaders who have graduated with a BS or MS in Business/Management Information Systems and/or Computer Science/Engineering, Programming/Software Development or Operations Research or Statistics who have:
  • Demonstrated interest in the Data space and foundational mastery in applied data technologies
  • SQL
  • Relational databases, ER models/diagrams
  • Demonstrated use of data and BI tools
  • Have knowledge in programming languages such as Python, R*
  • Familiar with other non-SQL databases*
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to engage with vendors and others,
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work across functions
