Our Reading Plant manufactures Gillette and Old Spice products, some of the world's most popular shaving preparations, deodorants and anti-perspirants. We give our people the opportunity to grow their skills and we actively encourage personal development with a promote from within culture.

Your skills and experience

Ideally you will be joining us from a background where you have applied practical operational skills, including mechanical and electrical and you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

. Understand and solve production and equipment related issues.

. Have a high level of personal accountability and ownership for results, not being afraid to tackle challenging tasks.

. Have a passion to look for ways to improve equipment reliability and suggest and implement changes that will help grow the business.

. Be a strong team player who can work collaboratively with teams across an organisation.

. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

. An innovative thinker with the ability to explore new ideas.

. Able to clean, operate and maintain equipment.

. A willingness to share knowledge and build capability in self and others.

. Participate in team tasks and activities to achieve desired results.

. Create, own and improve systems.

. Own overall line/area standards during shifts.

. Ability to respect and follow processes and standards.

. Have a high regard for Health and Safety.

You will need to work a rotating shift pattern and be able to provide a thorough handover to the incoming shift. We currently operate a 24/5 shift pattern but this can change depending on business needs.
