We currently have an opportunity for a Cybersecurity & IT Compliance Technician at the P&G Reading Plant. You report directly into the Engineering Manager yet join part of a wider UK and regional IT and Cyber Security team to support our aims in the cybersecurity and IT compliance arenas.

As the plant’s Cybersecurity & IT Compliance representative, you will support working with high efficiency and our cybersecurity practices to prevent, detect and manage cyber threats.

With us you will:

  • Networks and Server management
  • IT support and asset management - Hardware and software compliance
  • Implementation of IT compliance in a manufacturing environment
  • Lead projects, ensuring executed on time
  • Ensure Information Security Policies and cybersecurity standards are understood, adhered to and continuously improved - Both technical and behaviour


Apply if you have:

  • A qualification in IT compliance and Cyber Security related field
  • Knowledge on following systems: IT Networks (switches, routing, firewalls), current and legacy operating systems (Microsoft Server, Microsoft Clients, Linux, Thin Clients), Server infrastructure (VMWare ESXi, storage)
  • Knowledge of Database (SQL, Oracle) and Control Systems (PLC, SCADA)
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment or understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems such as Historian, SAP is desired
  • The ability to lead from the front, multi-task and prioritise as well as strong collaborations skills
