Legal Counsel - Rome

If so, the Legal department in P&G is the place for you! P&G Legal counsels provide advice on a wide scope of matters such as labor & employment, health, safety & environment, privacy & data protection, corporate criminal liability, advertising, antitrust, contracts, and much more. In addition to the practice on the legal matters that will be part of the projects assigned to you, the internship offers an unrivaled opportunity to collaborate with multiple interfaces, both internal clients (i.e. other departments such as Marketing, HR, Sales, etc.) and external partners (outside counsels, competitors in-house counsel, authorities and regulators, etc.), in a meaningful, engaging and international work environment. The internship offers a monthly scholarship, as well as the reimbursement of travel and housing expenses to candidates not resident in Rome.
The intern’s responsibilities can spread across one of more of the following areas according to the specific projects assigned:
  • General legal support across multiple legal entities in Italy
  • Support the different Company’s departments including HR, Sales, Marketing and Finance, in their respective activities.
  • Drafting legal recommendations on issues across the business, negotiation and drafting of Italian/International law and International law contracts, dealing with labor law related issues, competition law, promotional activities, consumer protection;
  • Advising on corporate compliance, 231 law, and compliance to company policies.

  • Master Degree in Law
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in a Law Firm or in a Company would be a preferential condition
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), knowledge of Spanish language would be appreciated
  • Accountable, Passionate about Legal matters, focused on priorities
  • Communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Very good teamwork and leadership skills
