Business Partner - HCM

As the Workday HCM Reporting L2 Manager, you will resolve issues for our HCM Report users, troubleshoot problems, and run ad hoc queries to help users get what they need. You will direct Users to existing self-led learning resources and identify opportunities for improvement. You will leverage your knowledge of the Workday system architecture and P&G’s specific implementation to get employee questions, issues, and requests solved in a timely manner. You will work with HCM Reporting L3 to recommend new or modified certified reports to prevent issues, resolve problems, or eliminate recurring ad hoc queries. You will help to identify trends that may lead to new solutions or new change requests that will help us grow and improve our global enterprise suite of reports. This will require Workday HCM and Report Writer knowledge and strong communication skills to consult with users on their business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage tickets through ServiceNow according to best practice

  • Assess overall user experience of certified reports, recommending self-led training and documentation improvements.

  • Identify recurring ad hoc request queries

  • Troubleshoot reporting issues to root cause and recommend resolution

  • Evaluate and deliver Workday one-time ad hoc data requests

  • Partner with HCM Reporting L3


Qualifications
  • Self-led learner and self-motivated

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of consultative, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience managing conflicting priorities

  • Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams

  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Reporting and Report Writer

  • Advanced & Matrix Report Writing capability

  • Working knowledge of Prism

  • Working knowledge of complex calculated fields & data objects in Workday

  • Strong understanding of Workday Report Security

  • Experience in global organization

  • Knowledge of HR and Workday processes

  • General knowledge and support of modern development practices, such as Agile and Dev Ops

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
