Application Manager for Financial Solutions

Applications Manager is responsible for implementation, maintenance, and support of assigned applications to ensure to met Accounts Receivable and Banking business needs.

In this role you will:

  • Design, build and implement functional SAP programs (SAP ABAP workbench, business workflow, etc.) working with other Developers throughout the development life cycle.
  • Assist in software QA (validation and verification) to ensure development requirements are satisfied.
  • Partnering with key business contacts and technology suppliers to discover, design, build and qualify new capabilities required by regional and Corporate Projects.
  • Own and drive adoption of Application & Integration standard methodologies during application lifecycle management (ALM), e.g. managing, implementing and governing
  • Continuous Improvements, project driven changes/configuration, self-initiated improvements that will deliver business value.
  • Delivering projects on time, on quality, and on cost.
  • Provide important inputs to improving efficiency and knowledge within the team.
  • Participate/lead projects or projects WBS/sprints applying different project management methodologies such as waterfall or agile.
  • Operate and work on design solutions with integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, MFT Axway, Dell-Boomi following industry best practice and principles.

  • You have familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Agile Software Development)
  • You should have good technical skills and the ability to quickly develop mastery in new technologies.
  • You should demonstrate knowledge of industry best-practice in design and implementation of complex IT projects.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting across a complex IT landscape and lead changes following Wave Management and SOLMAN.
  • You have experience with ABAP development with emphasis on SAP FI and SAP workflow development
  • Demonstrate experience with developing SMART Forms and SAP scripts
  • Knowledge/background in any of the following would be considered beneficial:
    • SAP
    • APIs
    • Azure
    • Robotic Process Automation
    • HTML, Java, J2EE, Oracle, SQL
  • Being critical thinker and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience on Smart Automation tools (e.g. SharePoint, Knime, RPA, SAP Lumira, Service Now, Power BI, etc.) are preferred.
  • You should be able to analyze issues, investigate options, and recommend solutions with sound judgment.
  • Project management experience is desired, sense of responsibility, leadership, communication and ownership skills to deliver projects from start to finish.
  • You should proactively seek answers to problems, laser focused in driving issues to resolution, and committed to closing a project on time, on quality, and on cost.
  • You should be able to interact with report users to understand their requirements, support them during testing and defect resolution as well as to develop reports for best User Experience.
  • You should have the ability to continually learn, adapt to change and stay on top of new releases features is critical to deliver better results over time.
  • You should demonstrate knowledge of industry best-practice in design and implementation of complex IT projects.
