We are seeking passionate and creative Production Artist to join our growing team of Fabric Care designers! As an adaptation designer and production artist, this exciting role will translate design adaptation briefs into print-ready executions.

Your Team

You will report to the Design Director and work with a multifunctional team.

What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate comes with extensive expertise in the relevant design software to bring established design concepts to finished executions. You will need a clear understanding of the print production and creative adaptation processes with a focus on packaging. You should also have a detailed understanding of how the end-to-end design process work and enjoy working within a corporate environment within a multi-function team.

Job Responsibilities

Translate design adaptation briefs into print-ready executions

Adapt product and promotional packaging designs into various formats, versions, sizes across various selling channels

Deliver a mid to high number of design file creation (about 20 files weekly)

Colour, image, photo-editing and retouching to adhere to business standards and requirements

Ensure quality and accuracy of files that are created or set to print publications or vendors

Collaborate and seek design inputs and approvals across multi-functional teams and with external agencies

Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or similar discipline
Strong portfolio with 2-5 years experience applying print standards to design template files. Portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, adaptation methodology, and print knowledge.
Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and PantoneLIVE
Good color vision and understanding in colour management
High attention to details
Sense of urgency and time management ability to deliver deadlines
Proactivity, resourcefulness and having a strong passion to always elevate the standard of design
Industry experience in FMCG or retail consumer product packaging is a plus
