In CMK, we directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments and much more. We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it & how we can we influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis and good research.

We answer questions like: What should our brands stand for? Who are our target shoppers and how do we best reach them? How can we invent exciting in-store & on-line shopper experiences?

You are part of a multi-functional business team, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth. Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine soft skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions.

You will report to the Consumer Market Knowledge leader for the brand/region and work extensively with colleagues from other teams including Marketing, Product Supply, Sales, Communications and Finance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consumer insights and analysis using economic, statistical, trend datasets

  • Designing appropriate consumer research to meet business objectives

  • Driving business results by influencing marketing and media investments, through an analytics-based approach

  • Leading creation and execution of analytic action plans that addresses top priority business challenges

  • Ensuring that your team is actioning consumer insights

  • Working alongside business leaders to champion shopper-based business plans that drive growth in specific retailers and channels

  • Leading analysis presentations to External Retail and Distributor Partners.

  • How success looks like

  • Building strong working relationships and team members, including the Brand, Communications and Media teams to enable the delivery of business priorities

  • Grow into a trusted consumer insights expert who works effectively with your business unit



  • Develop social listening capability and insights to guide social media strategy.

  • Good at communication within diversified organization.

  • Strong technical mastery on basic data analysis and read.

  • Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and provide insightful recommendation.

  • Proactive leadership to engage & influence multi-functional team.

  • Experience in other FMCG companies, or experience in social media agency and research house.

  • Fluent oral English & Good written English.

  • 4-10 years experience on research industry.

  • Working experience in global FMCG companies is a plus.
