We are currently recruiting for a Category Specialist, on the Baby & Feminine Care Team, to join our Toronto office full time beginning immediately. The Baby & Feminine Care Category teams develop plans to win the hearts of Canadian consumers across the country with our retailer partners.
As a Category Specialist, you will:
- Own key processes and tools to bring category team’s innovation launches, sales strategies and in store executions to life across Canada. This will require liaising with the key multi-functional contacts and the customer teams to ensure top quality excellence in execution.
- Preparation and analysis of key projects such as tracking reports, competitive summaries, market dynamics and / or sales strategies to enable business and category growth
- Learn and expertly use P&G systems and software to facilitate business needs
- Build relationships and collaborate with multi-functional resources, account handlers and agency contacts to deliver joint business goals
In this role, you willbe exposed to a wide variety of customer business planning experiences such as sales planning, in-store excellence, and budget planning.You will build skills in the areas of collaboration, communication, priority-setting, and agility.
Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a can-do attitude who can work both independently and within a team environment. You must be a problem-solver and technical expert, with the ability to identify and lead process improvements while learning new skills and tools. You should have the ability to help us build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with others in order to successfully execute and move our business forward.
·Candidates with 0-2 years’ experience will find this role to be a good fit;
·Analytical and administrative expertise would be an asset;
·Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and flow to work as needed;
·Leadership and ownership of core work, including strong capabilities for making improvements to core work processes and systems as necessary;
·Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
·A technical aptitude and comfort that allows you to learn additional software applications;
·Detail-oriented, while operating with a sense of urgency, especially on tasks with sensitive timing requirements;
·Ability to integrate change in a dynamic business environment, and be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions or plans;
·Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
