WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU JOIN US?
A winter co-op position in Finance with P&G Canada could include providing financial leadership to:
- Business teams based around key P&G brands, such as Tide®, Pampers®, Crest®, or Pantene®
- Customer teams based around key retailers, such as Walmart, Costco, Loblaws or Shoppers Drug Mart,
- Or Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations that are responsible for getting our products to market.
Your co-op position will provide you with early responsibility in the following areas: Business planning to set/manage short and long term goals for sales and/or cost targets, this includes identifying key opportunities to exceed current targets and how to avoid future business risks; financial analysis on plans or projects (such as marketing plan elements like couponing, sampling, customer merchandising/promotions etc.) to determine payout of projects and to set direction for future plans; an understanding of key external market trends including competitive benchmarking, retailer and sales channel analysis; and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and grow share profitably.
You will have a mid-term and end-of-term evaluation, which are structured to help assess your strengths as well as areas of improvement. Upon completion of your winter co-op, your performance will be evaluated and discussion of future full-time offers from P&G will be discussed openly and with candor.
Candidates must be available as of January 7th, 2019 for a 3-4 month co-op term. We encourage students graduating in late 2019 or 2020 from all disciplines to apply.
