eCommerce Payment Engineer

Warsaw (Targowek), Poland


The eCommerce Platform Engineer position within P&G Digital Marketing IT team is responsible for designing, developing & maintaining set of flexible eCommerce services to support delivery of wide-range of selling experiences across multiple technology stacks. The role requires vast experience in designing & implementing eCommerce capabilities and practical experience in operating within Service-based Architectures. In this role you will be managing technical components & define integration standards both with internal & external systems. You will also work with external product teams to influence respective product road maps to better meet P&G needs.


With us you will:

  • Translate business requirements into service/application solutions

  • Collaborate with Architecture team to make right technology choices & define where to use external services vs. build custom ones

  • Design, develop & evolve services & applications within Service-based Architecture

  • Implement set of Proof of Concepts to validate integration patterns proposed

  • Integrate the eCommerce services within existing P&G Digital Ecosystem & 3rd party services

  • Collaborate with internal & external development teams (incl. Commercial Product teams) to deliver the design

  • Make the commerce services framework client friendly enabling simple front-end integration

  • Support transition from existing eCommerce solutions into target architecture

  • Provide expertise, input and troubleshooting support as one of the experts on the platform

  • Consult internal application owners & customers on ecommerce available capabilities & implementation guides

  • Collaborate with P&G internal InfoSec Team to come up with best practices for eCommerce integrations.


Qualifications
Apply if you have:
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing eCommerce solutions (BigCommerce platform experience preferred)
  • Proven knowledge and experience of eCommerce components
  • 3+ years of experience working with REST APIs design & integration
  • 5+ years of hands on IT experience with some programming experience
  • Up to date knowledge on eCommerce platforms road maps & trends (BigCommerce experience is an advantage)
  • Proficient in creating technical documentation for external development teams
  • Bachelors degree
  • A valid EU work visa
