As an IT Application Manager your key responsibilities would include:

Owns gathering, analysis, validation, and management of solution requirements. The resource will coordinate across the Service Manager, Business Expert, Business Leads, and Architects. Resource knowledge will focus on growth for specialization in the Proficy Quality module of larger MES application (Proficy Plant Applications - Manufacturing Solution). In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of specific Manufacturing IT solutions at P&G Plants & Distribution Centers globally. This will include:

  • Defining the product roadmap to evolve the capability of the applications and drive adoption to 100+ sites globally.
  • Implementing CI/CD tools and standard methodologies to accelerate deployment of new capabilities whilst ensuring no failure in change execution.
  • Partner with internal and external software developers to deliver improvements - Solution development, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Partner with IT Operations to implement resiliency enhancements sought at improving operational excellence and growing user satisfaction.

  • Ability to document the technical architecture that underlies a given application.
  • Ability to collect, articulate and influence requirements, models, and specifications accurately and in a way that it is understood both by IT and non-IT professionals.
  • Ability to apply fundamentals of Project Management to keep work on track against dimensions of Scope, Quality, Cost and Schedule.
  • Ability to communicate status, drive transparency on issues, and call out and/or remove barriers where help is needed
  • Ability and interest to rapidly onboard and apply modern / evolving solutions and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology.
  • Expand knowledge/use of SQL.
  • Curiosity about understanding HOW a solution works - having an internal strive to dig deep into technical skill.
  • Computer Programming / IT Skills.


  • Experience with MS SQL including hands on with tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or Azure Data Studio.
  • Manufacturing experience and/or Proficy Plant Applications Experience.
  • REST APIs and API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Hands on experience in developing or leading web applications.
