Ecommerce Brand Manager (Home Care UK)

P&G are looking for a self-motivated and results driven individual to help lead Ecommerce and online marketing for Home Care, reporting to the UK Brand Director. This newly created role is an excellent opportunity to join Procter & Gamble leading Ecommerce and Digital Marketing for our 4 Home Care brands: Fairy, Febreze, Flash & Viakal. The role offers the opportunity to evolve how P&G works, modelling a new set-up of winning in E-commerce and Digital brand plans in the UK. It is a unique role & opportunity to join P&G bringing in new ideas and fresh thinking.

Role & Responsibility

  • Ownership of Digital & Ecommerce strategy. Including online/digital customer relationships (both Pure Players and Bricks & Clicks), digital brand plans and commercial trade terms for the ecommerce channel. Responsible to create strategic partnerships with retailers and digital media owners to grow our 4 home care brands online in the future.

  • Leadership of paid digital media. Including the Search & Social strategy.

  • Responsibility of Data/Analytics of ecommerce activity. Hands on approach on data and analysis to enable strategic decisions & innovation plans for growth.

  • Maintain scorecards & consistent KPIs - Provide regular detailed insights of sales and media performance to enable comparisons and insights. Deliver actions from insights through a deep understanding of online landscape and market place.

  • Evaluating & developing new eCommerce opportunities. Drive incremental profitable growth for Home Care online, working closely with the multifunctional team & the retailers.

  • Lead and deliver Ecommerce/Digital Innovation. Test and learn different models to enable optimisation and sustainable growth in the future.

Key Skills/Experience Required

  • Courageous Leader with a willingness to learn. We are looking for a business-minded doer with knowledge of the e-Retail landscape who puts the consumer experience at the heart of activities and decisions.

  • Innovative and entrepreneurial focus. Focused and decisive with the ability to take risks where needed. The candidate must feel comfortable in making creative connections, experimenting continuously and pushing boundaries to drive change.

  • Excellent interpersonal & collaboration skills. The individual needs to have the ability to navigate a Matrix organisation, influence multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships internally/externally to drive action.

  • Understanding of the digital landscape, media & e-commerce business.  Preferable to have some years of experience in Ecommerce & digital [CPG or retail an advantage]. Specifically experienced in leading an overall strategy; ideally covering performance marketing, digital media and understanding of online retailers.

Strong Analytical Capabilities. Ability to analyse data and uncover insights to enable the right business decisions.
