Problem Statement

Our sales volume heavily relies on promotion-driven strategies, such as bundle packs and discounts, making it challenging to accurately forecast sales. With a vast product portfolio and a global market, traditional forecasting methods like moving averages and statistical models fall short in providing reliable predictions. 

Idea/Solution
To address this issue, we leverage Machine Learning models to enhance the accuracy of our sales forecasting. By feeding historical data into these models and training them to predict future outcomes, we aim to achieve not only a high level of accuracy but also sustain it consistently over time. This approach ensures that our sales forecasts are more reliable and enable better decision-making throughout the organization. ​​

The past few years have been marked by unexpected events, such as the impacts of COVID-19 and Brexit, which have brought about significant changes in the market landscape. Customers have been introducing innovative promotional ideas, while competitors fiercely compete for limited market shares.
