ABOUT


Connect with consumers to understand their product and packaging needs, develop product formulas, and establish and assess competitive product performance. Convert these ideas, concepts and technologies into commercially feasible chemical, mechanical and packaging processes.

FORMULATION ENGINEER
  • Develop formulas that deliver breakthrough performance, utilizing chemical and biological technology to drive technical advantages in a variety of areas, including: household cleaning, absorbency, health and well being, and beauty and grooming products.
PRODUCTS RESEARCH ENGINEER
  • Connect with consumers to understand their product needs and translate these insights into technical requirements and prototypes for breakthrough product and package experiences.
PROCESS ENGINEER
  • Convert ideas, concepts and technologies into commercially feasible chemical and mechanical processes.
PACKAGING ENGINEER
  • Collaborate with other R&D experts, advertising, art, package design, manufacturing and suppliers to develop technically sophisticated packages and delivery systems that add performance advantage to P&G products.

Associate Researcher Opportunities


For the Associate Researcher opportunities at P&G, an Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Science field (We prefer Engineering, Biology or Chemistry, although other similar majors will be considered) or a high school diploma with relevant experience.

Associate Researcher is an entry level role for individuals who are competent in basic science and math and are inspired to apply those skills towards hands-on experiments. At P&G, a wide variety of R&D work is available to Associate Researchers, in the following major areas:


Products Research

Deeply understand our consumers and their needs to inform product design parameters for new or improved products.

Product Formulation & Design

Translates consumer needs into finished products that delight consumers using the best available technologies/chemicals/materials.

Analytical

Use lab equipment to solve tough technical problems via chemical, physical, mechanical, imaging, and other measurement capabilities.

Packaging & Device Development

Creates and improves packages and devices that delight consumers and retailers.

Process Development & Pilot Plant Operations

Translates ideas, concepts, and technologies into commercially feasible chemical and mechanical processes and scales them up from lab to pilot plant to manufacturing.
