We believe energy is a critical resource, more critical than time.
The key to high performance and extraordinary results is in the ability to manage personal energy in all its dimensions: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Because of that, we want to ensure a holistic approach, where all the players (individuals, line managers and the company) contribute to ensure a highly flexible, inspiring and healthy place to work.
This comes with awareness and knowledge programs such as trainings on stress management, on physical energy management, on time pressure handling and similar, but also with specific events and programs created to ensure high flexibility within the work environment and effectiveness of work and personal time.
'The interest of the company and individual are inseparable', this is the reason why P&Gers can choose from several alternatives to meet business targets while taking into account the personal needs and desires.

Our unique flexible working plans mean that your career can develop around any commitments you may have - being a new parent, for example. By offering everything from location free roles that give you international responsibilities without relocating to taking a 3-month sabbatical break later in your career, we can retain talented people and allow them to grow our business in their own way.
Here's how two of our people have benefitted from our flexible working plans:
From Geneva to the GalapagosPerrine Geebelen - Marketing, SwitzerlandI joined P&G five years ago and now work as displays & promotion assistant for Gillette Female Grooming. I took three months off to travel to South America with my husband. It was great to travel again free from responsibilities, learning Spanish and visiting amazing places such as Salar de Uyuni, Macchu Picchu, Perito Moreno glacier and the Galapagos Islands. I came back happy, peaceful, ready for new challenges and grateful for the opportunity. I was able to relax while travelling, knowing I had a job which I really liked waiting for me in Geneva.
At home at work
Michail Moschos - Marketing, Greece
Back in 2005 when I joined the Greek marketing organisation, my wife was working and living with my son 300km away. For two years I commuted, struggling to balance work and family needs. Then my manager suggested applying for the flexible working arrangement so I could work from home on Fridays. I'm now at home four days a week, maintaining a great balance between family and work.
Amongst the options for this program, we have notably developed:
Location free roles Assignments made available to best fit role & individual needs and that can be carried out in any of our Western European locations. That goes beyond business travel, to include roles such as those of a Project Manager or a Regional Initiative Owner that can be found in a number of our functions.
Reduced Work Schedule / Part time You can work less than a full-time schedule, e.g. fewer days per week or fewer hours per day.
Working from Home The flexibility to work during some or all of your working time from home. An increasing number of employees are enjoying the benefit of working from home a day or so every week, further balancing their professional and personal life.
Personal Leave of Absence (Sabbatical)You can take up to 3 months off after your first assignment and every 7 years without pay, but with continued benefits, to pursue individual interests.
Family leave Up to 12 months to look after family dependents (children, partner, parent or other family relatives)
Care of Dependents when travelling Recommended information resources and financial support to care for dependents in case of non-routine business demands/travelling
Our Flexible Work Arrangements are open to all our employees and guarantee equal career development.
