About us …

Our Engineering Technicians play an extremely important function within our manufacturing facility. Here, we produce the entire range of Gillette shaving preps as well as Old Spice body sprays. Our technicians have a critical role in keeping our lines running at optimum capacity so that our finished product can leave the site meeting all promised specifications of manufacturing ensure we continue to delight our consumers. And this is where you come in: day to day this you would be providing technical support to our production lines by problem-solving, keeping tight reins on maintenance standards and working on improvement projects with others.

Our production lines are staffed with small teams with the Engineering Technician taking a central role. The whole team works a 12 hour shift, rotating a 3 week pattern and averaging a 37.5 hour week.

This role is open to applicants who thrive on challenges, have a strong desire to contribute, continually learn, and are driven to find ever-increasing ways to improve our productive environment.

Main Responsibilities are …

* Fault-finding, interrogation and repair on a wide range of high-speed packaging equipment.

* Maintenance activities – both planned and ad-hoc

* Accountability for a designated line and maintaining its standards.

* Operate a computerised maintenance management system.

* Provide technical support to other team members.

* Contribute to continuous improvement, root-cause analysis and engineering projects.

You're a good fit if you …

*Can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes, both hands on and theory, holding a minimum of HNC/HND as a qualified electrical/multi-skilled engineer.
