Data Governance Manager

We are looking for a Data Governance Manager to join our IT hub in Warsaw, Poland. Our Data Governance Managers are practitioners of data management, concerned with establishing and controlling data quality and availability required throughout the data supply chain to ensure the right business decisions are made. Within this position, you will be responsible for the implementation of the governance process of various data inputs with the objective to control data quality.
With us you will;
Have end to end ownership of the data quality across the full data lifecycle, which will include; data purchasing, data ingestion/harmonisation across the business as a whole up to data activation
Establish business validation processes that define data quality in a measurable way, identify and implement data quality trackers using automation techniques for reporting, and taking corrective actions if quality metrics are not met.
Assess the data sufficiency in terms of timeliness, completeness, availability, accuracy as well as readiness to be ingested towards P&G data ecosystem. Performs data readiness assessment to determine, whether data is sufficient to meet business objective
Work cross-functionally across the business e,g. i) advising the development teams in charge of the extract, transform, load (ETL) data process in order to secure the highest quality of data, ii) collaborating with Purchasing in order to secure Data Governance best in class practises are implemented in the contracts, iii) working with business analyst / data activators to ensure highest quality of data is taken towards insight generation algorithms.
Apply if you have;
Bachelors Degree (at a minimum), ideally within the Information Technology space.
Foundational knowledge in Business Analytics, Systems Development and Integration, Data Architecture and/or experience in cloud data technologies
Previous experience within data stewardship and governance, especially with regards to data quality is highly desirable however full training will be provided.
Certification from the DAMA organisation (highly desirable)
Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written), able to communicate effectively in English to convey complex technical information to regional/global area experts.
