Responsible to define and implement MPD core projects covering initiatives, cost savings, and supply assurance delivering the Power Oral Care masterplan. This role reports directly into the Power Oral Care MPD Senior Manager.
Specific role responsibilities include:
Coordination with central resources based in Germany on scope definition, master data, execution and qualification strategies for new initiatives.
Own Material Quality Improvement process within POC. Deliver PR recovery projects on Making and/or packing lines with projects. Develop and Execute BCP(s) or NSS projects for POC materials, as well as leading or supporting events for Initiatives.
This role focuses on BCP and Cost Savings projects, and reapplying existing packaging concepts for global and regional projects in close collaboration with respective regional partners, mainly in North America. In addition, this role includes responsibility for full qualification of components, materials, and/or packages on site, on identifying and introducing Quality and Process improvements, as well as external engagement to suppliers of materials, processes and equipment.
Development, optimization and qualification of packaging concepts in close relationship to R&D, PackDev, Franchise Packaging, Marketing, Purchasing, and regional project management to deliver consistently best FMOT value impression. Will work as technical experienced link with all involved in-house functions as well as with external suppliers. The MPD focus requires experiences in R&D and manufacturing technologies to deliver the expected significant technical improvements and cost savings. Continuous technical skills development and continuity are desired in this role.
