- Depending on the project, you will develop applications to support the daily work of operations mainly in JavaScript (Node) via the PTC ThingWorx Framework, using SQL, DataBricks and various data connections.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of project objectives.
- Design and implement software solutions that adhere to industry best practices, coding standards, and project guidelines.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Continuously optimize software applications to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Document software design, development processes, and project progress to facilitate future enhancements and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain plant production system (GE Proficy), stay in touch with production departments about related issues and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies both in P&G environment and global trends. Using this actively participate in creating new baseline and standards for the development process.
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and SQL development.
- Experience with server management, specifically Windows Server, IIS, and Tomcat.
- Advantage: Familiarity with the PTC ThingWorx Framework.
- Advantage: Knowledge of React.
- Advantage: Background in FMCG manufacturing.
- Advantage: Understanding of GE applications, such as Proficy and Historian.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in continuous development and IT projects.
- Advantage: basic project management skills.
- Proficient in Hungarian.
- Good command of English.
- Advantage: IT architectural knowledge and mindset.
