The Color & Prepress Specialist is responsible for ensuring the realization of design intent by preparing and processing design files for various printing methods. This role involves managing color setups, conducting pre-flights, and creating print-ready file while closely collaborating with design and production teams. The specialist ensures quality and consistency in print execution, troubleshoots file issues, and provides feedback on color direction using hard copy proofs.

Job Qualifications

Education:

• Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.

Requirements (Skills / Experience) for the role:

• 3-5 years of experience in packaging color and pre-press.
• A strong understanding of printing processes.
• Proficient in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Starting Pay / Salary Range

$64,000.00 - $92,700.00 / year
