Then a Commercial Internship in our Strategic Sales department is the right place for you! It is an opportunity to join our organization for 3-6 months where you will get to know how a world-class sales & trade marketing organization operates. As a Commercial Intern you will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies based on in-depth analysis of the category, customer, market and sales processes. You will learn and execute concepts of market development and consumer behavior in order to apply them to categories (brands), customers and channels (distributors, pharmacies, supermarkets, among others). Within the Strategic Sales function, you might join one of two teams: Key Account Management or Category Management. In both, the energy and dynamism of day-to-day sales are factors that make this position attractive and interesting.

Examples of projects you might work on as part of Category Management team where you will:

  • Contribute to the development of sales concepts, product branding and go-to-market strategies & tools

  • Be involved in the design business plans which will deliver sales and market share objectives and help customers to develop programs which will build the business

  • You make commercial recommendations for a category (e.g.: Laundry with Ariel, Oral Care with Oral B, Baby care with Pampers, Hair Care with Head & Shoulders etc.). Your mission is to improve turnover and Sales fundamentals by suggesting strategic choices in terms of budget, assortment and promotion.

  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of your shoppers, categories and market

Examples of projects you might work on as part of Key Account Management team where you will:

  • Be externally focused, on national key Customers (like Rossmann, DM, Tesco, Spar) or online retailers (such as eMag, Kifli) getting an understanding of the customers and shoppers needs and key business drivers

  • Collaborate with the whole multifunctional team to prepare in depth data analysis and transform insights into actions

  • Develop new business plans to help shaping our joint collaboration in strategical areas with our customers

  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Hungarian retail landscape, customer needs and requirements

In both cases, you will:

  • Whilst building the external or internal plans, not only develop your commercial skills, but also your financial & marketing skills, analytical insights and logistical understanding  

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of people from different functions (Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing sites, Suppliers, Product Supply) and countries to deliver key results

  • You'll be part of a team in which trust, team spirit, real passion for winning and leadership are very important.


  • Internship for 3 - 6 months on employment contract(with certification for your studies if needed, student status not required for the role)

  • Flexible work schedule with min 20 work hours per week and occasional work from home

  • Chance to receive a direct opportunity for Sales Traineeship role in duration of 9-12 months immediately or within 12 months of successful completion of the Internship

  • Have interest and passion for starting your career in a commercial role

  • Are a BA/MA student (from 2nd year) or fresh graduate up to 12 months after graduation

  • Are available to work min 20 hours/week for 3-6 months  

  • Have a driver's license (and are an active driver)

  • Can communicate proficiently in English and Hungarian (written and spoken)

  • Have strong leadership and strategic analysis thinking skills

  • Have excellent collaboration skills and ability work effectively with diverse groups of people by embracing creativity, innovation, and initiative

  • Have time management skills to deliver your work and make even the biggest goals achievable
