Our Engineers located in the Europe Baby Care Process & Engineering hub in Euskirchen, Germany (near Cologne/Bonn) are responsible for inventing, developing, reapplying and delivering breakthrough technologies that provide winning products for consumers around in Europe and around the world. Looking after a multitude of current and future products, Procter & Gamble Engineers have the technical curiosity and knowledge to develop innovative approaches to big challenges. Your work will require creativity, innovation, teamwork and leadership. You will use state of the art technologies with multi-disciplinary and highly professional teams across the Company and work seamlessly with R&D and Manufacturing.

With us you will:

  • Lead and execute end to end technology development within a global team of professionals.

  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional project teams to design and deliver an innovation pipeline including production technologies to delight our consumers globally with superior products at the right quality and cost.

  • Be responsible for developing and qualifying production equipment.

  • Challenge & improve the performance and design of existing production platforms.

  • Own tracking and reporting against project technical success criteria

  • Improve existing production machines / automation processes

  • Analyse and compare variants of technical development potential

  • Cooperate with machine suppliers

  • Drive the digitization to the next level.


Qualifications

The following skills will help you to be successful:

  • Strong leadership – Ability to proactively influence project direction, gain enrollment and alignment of other functional groups & key stakeholders.

  • Building Diverse and Collaborative Relationships - Development of relationships will be critical to your success in supporting the business. You will work seamlessly across the Baby Care Europe engineering organization, R&D, production sites and external partners.

  • Passion for technology - you should have a curiosity to troubleshoot hard problems and develop new solutions.

  • Technical Mastery - understanding of design principles for converting, mechanical, and process equipment including, but not limited to, unwinding, rewinding, web handling, fluid application, material handling.

  • Process understanding - to be able turn product and material requirements into equipment solutions.

  • Design & Innovation management – the ability to manage design priorities, understand of design problems and translating them to design intents. Leading to effective and efficient management of design resources, as well as cost effective functional solutions.

  • Agility - you should be able to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and strong sense of ownership – those will help you to drive projects in the right direction and make the best decisions for the business.
