Cloud Innovation Engineer (Kubernetes)

This position is for a cloud enthusiast that will be responsible for bringing new break-through technology into P&G by working with top technical vendors in cloud space to develop unique technical capabilities for the company.
Responsibilities:
Develop innovative technical capabilities for P&G Managed Kubernetes Platform
Work closely with P&G Architects on establishing and implementing reference architectures for Cloud Native Computing utilizing Microservices, Serverless and Event-based concepts
Contribute into Developer centric strategy for Cloud Native Capabilities in P&G
Develop automation workflows for end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle management
Collaborate with Application teams
Work closely together with Operations resources in same team to see your work coming to life in production environments
Participate in discovery and evaluation work for key break-through cloud technology products
Formulate new cloud native services specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic, heterogenous cloud based environment
Provides consulting services to the application teams throughout their journey to the Data Center/Cloud
Writes and automates Data Center/Cloud provisioning scripts, engineers Data Center/Cloud solutions to enable business innovations and transformations
Interacts with and supports diverse IT workloads, including Business Intelligence, Big Data, transactional systems, web applications among many others, adopting fast changing Data Center/Cloud technologies, meeting various business demands and priorities, complying with internal security controls, understanding and choosing architecturally sound solutions from a library of prebuilt patterns and strategic Data Center/Cloud hosting providers, as well as influencing our Data Center/Cloud reference architecture patterns
Qualifications
Apply if you have:
Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience
Advanced experience with using and/or administering Kubernetes clusters/applications
Hands on experience in building and maintaining solutions in the Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS); MS AZURE preferred
Experience working with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps/GitFlow/ZeroOPs models including knowledge of processes and tools
Hands on experience in scripting / programming
Familiarity with CICD tools for application and infrastructure build and delivery
Passion for learning new things
Strong verbal and written communication skills
English proficiency & at least a bachelor’s degree
