Truck Optimization VSO (OBLB) - Application Manager

We're looking for an IT professional who will be responsible for managing the software applications within Transportation and related functionalities (SAP OM/TM), custom P&G Truck optimization & release SAP solutions and regional customizations along with its integration with P&G ecosystem.
Candidate will need to:
Perform analysis, software development estimation, testing and execution of Order Builder and Load Builder changes and incident support identified
Facilitate the definition of updates and fixes as needed
Share change management knowledge within the Business Expert and Key User communities for both Transportation and Order Management, including Service Management processes
Provide direction and input on proposed regional changes with regards to the Global Landscape and Architecture of the Solution, act as gate keeper to ensure the Solution’s stability and standards
Deliver training and guidance on Tool capabilities to meet Business Case scenarios, as well as to translate these into technical actionable requirements
Important Responsibilities:
Own as Application Manager the Request for Change (RFC’s) gathering, analysis, validation and management of solution requirements in SAP OM / TM with relevant business process knowledge
Help lead solution development governance from a technical & Product Team standpoint, quality assurance and release management for the application to meet business, user and stakeholder’s needs
Coordinates with Project Managers, Service Managers and Service Management Team Members on the enhancements, fixes and solution compliance with Global standards
Experience with a diverse network of P&G OTC organizations as well as technical, functional, testing and change management documentation experience with nomenclature and application terminology (SolMan, ServiceNow, MEGA is a plus)
Candidate will need to act as a consultant for Business Requirements when they enter the Solution’s CAB/TDC pipeline and will need to have wide range of experiences in root cause analysis particularly within the Transportation and Order Management spaces
Qualifications
Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:
Fluency in English and at least a Bachelor's degree
Advanced SAP ECC Application management skills and experience,
Proven experience as project SAP OM/TM consultant or equivalent roles
Proficient in Software Requirements documentation and SAP Development (ABAP development experience on top of Functional consultant experience)
Understands Business processes in Order Management, Warehousing and Transportation
SAP Project Management experience
Advanced or Proficient Application Management (Requirements or Software engineering certification a plus)
Communication skills & ability to learn quickly on custom solutions - applicant will need to already possess or quickly build understanding on P&G SAP OM, TM, Truck optimization & release and customizations related to specific regions and BUs
Ability to analyze complex problems, develop options, evaluate solutions, and ensure the right change is executed. Often that will require alignment with other product areas
