My career started fast at P&G. Working as part of the biggest pharmacy chain, it didn’t take long before I was responsible for $30 million in sales monthly. I can’t imagine I would have had an opportunity that big anywhere else. And I feel like I can go as far as I want here. P&G provides all the training I need, all guided by my interests and what I want to do.
This is an innovative company, and that’s one of the big reasons I’m here. When I was studying marketing, every single topic in my courses had at least one example of how P&G changed the way things are done. We innovate daily without even realizing it—every time we think of a different way to do things.
There’s a lot of pride here. I remember one of my managers saying to me, “There are no shortcuts. If you want to do something right, everything has a process.” I think that’s one of the reasons we have close connections, even as a global company. My country GM knows my name. I’m not just another employee in a big company.
